Baxandall Mastering EQ - Black

The RJR Baxandall Mastering EQ is a stereo EQ with high and low baxandall shelves, a parametric mid band, and a variable low cut filter. All settings are completely recallable thanks to 24 position ELMA rotary switches for the boost/cut controls, 6 position rotary switches for the frequency controls, and a 4 button push bank for the low cut filter. The three main bands are capable of up to +/-8dB boost or cut, with 6 frequency selections each; while the 6dB per octave low cut filter has three frequency selections and an 'off' setting. A true hard bypass executed via an electronic relay allows the entire circuit to be completely removed from the audio path. It is perfect for shaping the overall tonal balance of source audio without changing its sonic character or imparting any additional sonic colorations onto it. The high and low baxandall shelves have a very natural transparent sound, and are excellent "broad stroke" frequency shaping filters. Add to that the parametric mid filter and low cut filter, and it makes for a very versatile tool for mastering and mix engineers alike. The RJR Baxandall Mastering EQ is a must-have stereo EQ to add that final, perfect touch to a mix.
