System Integration - This is probably the trickiest part of putting a studio together. Now that you've bought all the gear, you have to figure out how the equipment will work together within the context of the overall studio. What plugs into what, what clock needs to be resolved and how should the patchbay be configured - well, you get the idea...

It may seems like a minor thing at first, but working these details out in advance can make a huge difference in the overall functionality of the studio when it is complete.

Details

It is all about the details. Every piece of gear that goes into a studio has to be considered - if it is balanced or not, what type of connectors are used for I/O, will all the connections be used or not, will there be room for future expansion? Will the system have balanced power - the list goes on and on. We can help you address all these issues up front and avoid costly problems or difficulties that arise from lack of planning.

Custom Wiring

Custom wiring is wiring anything to anything. If you want elco connectors or DL connectors for quick connection of a bunch of cables we can make it. Sometime it is real simple to do and sometimes it involves a lot of homework to make sure everything is thought of.

System Integration

This is where we make sure everything is talking or connected to everything else and the result is intuitive and makes sense to the studio owner. We also look at future expansion, making additions easy to complete and not impossible or unmanageable because of poor planning.

Equipment Modifications

We can modify any of your gear. Sometimes a client will tell us if their XYZ gear just had this knob to control the output of something it would be perfect. So we put the knob in and the customer is happy. Sometimes it is a simple mod, sometime it is a lot more complicated. We have even created gear for clients for specific uses.

Custom Monitors

We work very closely with Roger Quested of Quested monitors in setting up studio monitors. If any of the speakers have to be custom built, we can do it. Especially with surround set ups where the rear surround speakers just don't seem to fit the design of the studio, we can have the speakers specifically built for the room. We can even have Roger come out to the studio and tweak the system so it is perfect.
